DotA Tutorials 01 : Custom Hotkeys

After ages, finally the first tuto.

but WOOT? Its not the Sacred Warrior tuto?!
I’m sorry.. I’m looking for better builds for all the classes and this will take huge time to do.. meanwhile, I shall post misc stuffs first :)
(general tips, hints, facts, easter egg, etc)

SO..

HOW TO SET CUSTOM HOTKEYS FOR WARCRAFT III and DOTA!

simple :)

1. Go to this website
http://www.drjones.dk/customkeys/generator.php

2. Customize the keys as you wish!

(this is what I did)

3. Select the your DotA version(6.74 – latest for me), and hit Generate!

4. Save CustomKeys.txt into your WarcraftIII folder

5. Start Warcraft III. Go to Options > Gameplay > tick Custom Keyboard Shortcuts

DONE!

+++ IF YOU CUSTOMISE THE INVENTORY HOTKEYS, THERE ARE MORE STEPS!

a) Download THIS
b) Start the program
c) Select the Warcraft III folder, where CustomKeys.txt exsists. You can see in the taskbar [S].
d) When you start Warcraft III, press F5 to enable
e) You can now see that inventory hotkeys work :) This works only if the script is enabled.

DONE!!!
